Stewart Wood

Stewart Wood joined NVMS in the late 1990s and has been instrumental in the company’s growth, which now employs 50 staff across seven locations. NVMS represents some of the world’s leading technology brands, including GE, Baker Hughes, and HBK. The company bridges the gap between the virtual world of simulation and testing and the physical world of measurement and data acquisition. Starting his career in Western Australia, Stewart designed and developed online environmental noise monitoring solutions that became the de facto standard for managing mining and neighborhood noise for well over a decade. In 2009, he moved to Malaysia, where he helped develop the Asset Condition Monitoring business with Oil & Gas companies, including Petronas. Returning to Australia in 2012, Stewart now resides in Brisbane and leads the Precision Test and Measurement division at NVMS. He supports his team of specialist business managers across Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing, and Academia.
