Adriano D'Iorio
Adriano D'Iorio is a Structural Engineer and a PhD candidate in Structural, Seismic, and Geotechnical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on the interaction between chloride-induced corrosion and structural performance. In particular, he has investigated how climate change affects the diffusion of chlorides within the concrete matrix, accelerating the deterioration processes of reinforced concrete structures.
