Andrés A. Torres-Acosta

Full-time Professor, Researcher, and Consulting Engineer at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Queretaro Campus, in the undergraduate programs of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and the graduate program of Master of Science in Engineering (MCI). For more than 30 years he has also worked in the lines of investigation in Civil Engineering on durability of construction materials, structural design, electrochemical methods for the characterization of construction materials, and detailed inspection of concrete structures with corrosion problems. In the lines of investigation of Architecture, he has worked on the use of natural additions in construction materials, the restoration of historical monuments, and the historiography of royal roads and bridges. He is a National Researcher, Level II, of CONACYT National System of Researchers.
