Xiaofang Cheng
Cheng Xiaofang is a PhD student at Beijing University of Technology in the Civil Engineering program at Beijing University of Technology, focusing on disaster prevention and mitigation engineering. Her project is titled "Comparative Study on Site Classification Methods Based on KiK-net Strong Motion Records," focusing on site effects of seismic motion and strong motion observation technologies. In her research, she systematically collected and analyzed borehole test data and observation records from 646 strong motion observation stations, employing six representative site classification methods for comparison, and conducted an in-depth investigation into the attenuation relationships of acceleration response spectra, ultimately proposing improvements to site classification methods specific to China.
