Sophie Ochs holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, which she completed in 2023 with a focus on Water Science and Structural Engineering. Since then, she has been working at the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW) in Germany. In 2025, she began pursuing a PhD at ETH Zurich in Switzerland in parallel to her work at BAW. Her research focuses on infrastructure management as well as structural inspection on hydraulic structures.
