My research focuses on leading-edge structural engineering and the response of structures to extreme loads, including the areas of Earthquake Engineering and Structural Resilience.
My research vision integrates modeling of climate change-induced corrosion deterioration, ground motion selection, evaluation of damage limit states, and probabilistic concepts into a coherent framework for the seismic vulnerability and resilience assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) bridges.
