Francesco FT Tizzani

Francesco is a PhD student at the National University of Singapore, College of Design and Engineering, Department of Architecture since 2022. He is also a PhD researcher at Future Cities Lab Global for the Circular Future Cities project. He is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Rudi Stouffs. His research interests include: Circular Construction, Temporary Works' Circularity, Material Passports, and Building Information Management. Francesco received his master degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2014 with a joint master thesis on "Laser Scanning for BIM: solutions for tomorrow's AEC industry" with the Technical Universitat of Delft (The Netherlands). Francesco is currently working for Leighton Asia, an International General Contractor operating in Southeast Asia, as Group Manager of Digital Construction. He is a forward- thinking leader with more than a decade of experience in Engineering and Architecture with a passion for automation and optimisation. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches, Francesco is spearheading change in the construction industry and transforming the way we build our world. He is driving the Digital Construction department at Leighton Asia with a strategy to create a sustainable future. Francesco is a licensed Engineer in Italy (Ordine Ingegneri di Milano) and a chartered Architect in UK (RIBA).
