Laura Ierimonti
Laura Ierimonti is a post-doc researcher at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of University of Perugia where she is Adjunct Professor is Seismic Resistent Structures and Adjucunct Progessor in Structural Design at University of Tuscia. She graduated cum laude in Civil Engineering at University of Perugia in 2014 and received her PhD in International Doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of Florence in 2018. She was visiting scholar at TU Braunschweig in 2015 and 2017 and at Northeastern University (Boston) in 2016. Author of 52 papers published in high impact international journals and in international conferences proceeding, her research is mainly focused on structural health monitoring with applications to bridges and cultural heritage structures and life-cycle cost-based analysis with emphasis on wind-excited tall buildings and bridges. Dr. Ierimonti is a member of the UNIPG working group within the activities of the FABRE consortium of research for the evaluation and monitoring of bridges, viaducts and other structures. Dr. Ierimonti has been awarded by the University of Perugia for her master’s thesis in 2014 and has received the travel fellowship award for the BBAVII 2016 by the Northeastern University and the best paper award in IOMAC 2019.
