Dominika Bysiec

Dominika Bysiec, PhD, Eng. – born on December 30, 1979. She is an assistant professor in a research and academic position at the Department of Mechanics and Structural Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Opole University of Technology, Opole, Poland. Her scientific area, from the time she started working on her PhD to the present, have been focused on lightweight structures. She focuses primarily on considerations regarding coverings in the form of geodesic domes, shaped on the basis of a polyhedron that has not been explored so far. She has developed her own innovative topologies of these structures, and therefore focuses all her scientific considerations on carrying out various types of static, optimization and dynamic analyses in the context of selecting the most optimal structure.
