The application of 4th Industrial Revolution technologies in construction is increasing, particularly in quality control and safety management using image processing. Scaffolding is essential in construction but poses risks such as collapse and falls due to installation defects and worker negligence. Safety inspections are conducted, but challenges like limited personnel and obstructed visibility due to safety nets remain. This study proposes using image processing technology to inspect scaffolding safety by enhancing visibility inside the safety net. Histogram equalizations of image enhancement were applied to improve contrast, and results were analyzed using evaluation metrics like PSNR and SSIM. The findings show improved object identification, allowing better observation of worker safety and scaffolding conditions. The proposed technique enhances visibility, aiding managers in conducting more effective safety inspections.
