Both welding stud and epoxy gluing corrugated shear connector are adopted for composite design between UHPFRC layer and deck plate of orthotropic steel bridge deck (OSD) in a bridge. Analytical analysis was conducted for this full-scale UHPFRC composite bridge deck. The force transfer characteristics of the interface elastic deformation stage, the interface stable bonding stage, the interface damage development stage and the debonding stage were analyzed. The optimized hybrid connecting ways of both welding stud and epoxy gluing corrugated shear connector was determined for UHPFRC composite steel bridge deck. The analytical results testified that this hybrid composite interface could effectively improve local stiffness and reduce stress level at fatigue details in OSD.
